ADAS • BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Know your true situation — not a desirable one.
ADAS is a diagnostic assessment. Its value lies in showing where your venture actually stands today. If you choose answers to create a desirable impression rather than reflect reality, the assessment will not be helpful to you.
Your progress is savedAs you progress through the assessment, your entries are saved on this device. You can therefore complete the assessment over multiple sessions. Take your time. There is no hurry to finish. Answer each question as accurately and thoughtfully as you can.
1. There is no “best answer”
For each question, choose the option that most accurately reflects your actual situation. Any option may be correct depending on your circumstances and the evidence supporting it.
Options are not arranged in ascending or descending order of score or weightage. Do not try to guess which option scores higher.
Select what is TRUE — not what appears BEST.
2. What is evidence?
Evidence is the factual basis supporting your selected answer. It may come from customer interviews, surveys, market research, prototype testing, user feedback, enquiries, orders, sales, agreements, records or other actual experience.
Evidence helps ADAS distinguish between what you assume or intend and what has actually been observed, tested, achieved or documented.
3. Understanding Evidence Types
For Questions 1–15, Evidence Type tells ADAS what kind of support lies behind your answer. Choose the type that best represents the evidence you actually have.
A — AssumptionWhat you currently believe to be true but have not yet independently validated.
I — InterviewWhat you learned through direct conversations with relevant customers, users or stakeholders.
O — ObservationWhat you learned by directly observing actual behaviour, situations or processes.
D — DataEvidence from records, surveys, measurements, research, analytics or other verifiable information.
T — TransactionActual behaviour involving commitment — for example a purchase, paid order, deposit, subscription, confirmed booking, pre-order or signed commitment.
Evidence Note briefly explains what supports your answer and what it demonstrates. Where possible, state: What was done • With whom • When • What was the result.
If you do not yet have supporting evidence, select Assumption or Not specified, as appropriate. Stronger evidence does not automatically make an answer correct; it tells ADAS how well the answer is supported.
Example
“Customers will pay” may be an Assumption; direct customer conversations are Interview evidence; observed behaviour is Observation; survey or measured findings are Data; an actual paid order, deposit or pre-order is a Transaction.
4. Evidence must be genuine
If you do not yet have evidence, say so honestly. That itself is useful information about what needs further validation.
Do not invent, exaggerate or provide false evidence. ADAS examines the consistency and credibility of evidence. False, misleading or inconsistent evidence can be detected during evaluation and, when identified, will adversely affect your assessment and score.
